The 27s are Landis Daniels and Kevin Franklin. Born and raised in Denton, TX they began their career in the metal world as "Indirections". However, in 2020 they linked up again to create The 27s. Using their background in hardcore and hip hop to blur the lines between subgenres The 27s was born. They began working on new music months before the pandemic hit in Sherman Oaks, CA; but when the world shut down, Landis was home in Texas and Kevin was in Los Angeles. They decided they wouldn't let the lockdowns stop them from pursing their dreams of making music. They were forced to produce and write over the internet while they waited for the world to open again, writing songs such as "Secrets" and releasing their cover of Saint Jhn's "Roses". They are gearing up for their next release "Better off Dead" which is step in a new direction combining some of their favorite childhood influences of Pop Punk, Rock, & Hip Hop.
